Booking and Payment

2. Payment: Payment for services is due on the day of the move unless otherwise agreed upon. We accept payments via cash, credit card, or other methods outlined during the booking process. A deposit may be required for long-distance moves or special requests.

3. Refunds and Cancellations: If you need to cancel or reschedule your move, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. A cancellation fee may apply if the cancellation is made less than 48 hours before the scheduled move.

4. Late Payments: If payment is not made on time, we reserve the right to charge a late fee. Continued non-payment may result in legal action to recover the outstanding balance.

Your Responsibilities

As a customer, you are responsible for:

• Providing clear instructions to our team regarding any special handling needs for fragile or valuable items.

Prohibited Items

We do not transport hazardous, illegal, or perishable items. These include, but are not limited to:

• Explosives, fireworks, or flammable materials.
• Hazardous chemicals or substances.
• Perishable food items.
• Firearms or illegal weapons.

If we find that such items are included in your move, we reserve the right to refuse the move and may charge additional fees for disposal or return of prohibited items.

Damage and Liability

1. Our Liability: While we take great care in handling your belongings, Kissimmee FL Movers is not liable for any damages resulting from events beyond our control, such as acts of nature (floods, fires, etc.), delays, or accidents during the move.

2. Customer’s Liability: You are responsible for providing accurate information about your belongings, including the size, weight, and special needs. Any damages due to misrepresented items, such as concealed items in boxes or incorrectly listed quantities, are not covered by our insurance.

3. Valuation: If you wish to insure your belongings for a higher value, we recommend arranging for additional coverage with your own insurance provider. Our liability coverage includes a standard valuation of $0.60 per pound per item unless otherwise arranged.

4. Damaged Items: In the event that damage occurs during the move, please report it immediately. Claims for damaged or lost items must be submitted within 48 hours after the move is completed. Claims are subject to an investigation, and compensation may be issued based on the valuation and type of damage.
